Not Exactly Roughing It

Updated Dining Hall

In 2012, a new food service building  was constructed that provides space for crafts, activities and a reinforced shelter area for severe weather. The building also includes a heating and cooling system to allow for year-round use and rental.  The spacious kitchen offers plenty of room to prepare full meals, store dry goods and the walk-in cooler offers ample storage.  Other amenities of the building include a combination gas range, double-oven and flat-top griddle, one half-bathroom, awnings on two sides of the building for outside meals and a bricked charcoal grill.  This building is the centerpiece of the camp.

NEW In-Ground Pool

Thanks to a generous donation, 2018 saw the opening of a new swimming pool. Offering a refreshing break from camp activities, the pool has easy entry on the shallow end with stairs spanning the entire width. There's also a portable chair lift for even more accessibility. The pool is six feet at the deep end, and deck galore provides plenty of room for lounging and taking in the rays. A dedicated bath house with two private rooms is attached to the new pool, and a new paved sidewalk also connects the pool area entry all the way to our dining hall via the main bath house and Bailey Hall.

Volleyball/Horseshoe Pits/Frisbee Golf

Got a little free time?  Grab a ball and some friends and serve a few over the net or throw some shoes to pass the time.  Bring a disc or two and try your hand at the three-hole Frisbee golf course.

Children's Play Equipment and Gaga Ball pit

Canopied Trees for Shade

Tall trees surround the camp and make a perfect resting spot from the summer sun.  Other creatures may be seen cohabiting the camp, some in trees, other in the woods.  You never know what might stroll through the grounds while you are having your morning coffee.
