​Camp Jefferson is hiring a manager for the 2020 camping peak season! Position runs from April 15-October 15 and involves extensive spring cleaning and stocking of supplies, coordination of group reservations, light janitorial work and facility maintenance, swimming pool operation, and help with shutdown at the conclusion of peak season. Hours are generally flexible and only as needed--especially for the months on either end of peak season--and the job could be juggled with other work. However, from June-August, our manager can expect to have to check in at least 2-3 times per day while Camp is in use and be available on-call just about around the clock during some stretches. It would be desirable, therefore, for the manager to live within 10-15 minutes from Camp. In the past, this job has been well-suited to local teachers, homemakers, and retired or semi-retired individuals. A college student home for the summer might even be able fit the job into his or her schedule. We are happy to consider hiring more than one person to handle the work as a team.
